I'm not suprised about that actually. The way Chinese was taught in school during my time... there was no way I could ever enjoy it.. all it ever invovled was memorising the chen yu book, among other things. Basically, it was like taking a chinese drill bit and boring directly into your skull. Not a pleasant experience. But hey, maybe you will be the one to change all that, and I might just retake my chinese O lvls. :P only got a C6 for it.
