I thought a storm was coming, but the rain never did unleash on us anything more than a pitter patter of mini droplets.

so bamboo gave me this packet of Ritz biscuits. Seriously I haven’t been eating properly over the past few weeks, burning midnight oil non-stop~

Anyway,  this is the weekend book market that springs up in the South-west corner of PKU every weekend. Mainly old second hand books, you can find amazing treasures here as long as you dig hard enough. We once bought the 2006 Singapore Encyclopaedia here~!!

Fanciful bridge underpasses~ wheee~~~

This was taken under Haidian Bridge 海淀桥 , just south-west of our school.

My teacher from Hwachong LEP, Mr Ong brought his band of Dunman bicultural students to Beijing, and got some of us alumni (that would be me and Yinjie. Junyuan was busy) out for a dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Good food, good talking, good old times.

Must be a product of rain from the previous night. VERY VERY Small…

ok, not really. But despite the rain,  the peforming team went all the way out of school to Haidian 海淀theatre for a post-competition performance. Turn-out was terrible, so was the acting. Ah well… after the whole business ended, made our way to BanFenLi 半分利, a steamboat eatery just outside the south gate of our school. Hehe, steamboat, i like~

where I take my weekly lessons in C programming (breadth module) and where I proudly received a score of 96 for my mid-semester exams on this day.

and 1 hard day’s work umpiring for the finals of the PKU cup, the Badminton Association takes a break and goes out for dinner and fun! Hehe… and so we play cards. You can see Haitao performing his forfeit~

represented the Chinese faculty. Although one of the weakest players in the team, managed to play in 2 games, 1 win 1 defeat. Our faculty got into top 12, but missed top 8 finals by a notch. And thus, I aspire to train harder, as well as groom more undergrads iin our faculty to bring us higher next year~

Where do you go? Hehe, where else but the bbq stall? Located in the heart of the Peking University Campus, this stall sells kebabs, chicken wings, innards, sweet potatoes, squid and many other things on sticks. Seemingly unhygenic, filthy, stinky and oily, the foods pretty good, and is open until 1 or 2am, when all other food outlets are closed. Heheh…
