有很多话、很多事想说，但中文输入偏偏这时候不能用（当然翻译时已经能用了），所以忍耐一下吧！不过说实在的，有一些事情用英语说会比较好表达，我猜从小惯用英语了，（相较起来还比中文好使）。
I’ve got a lot of things I wanna say, but the damned Chinese is not working for the moment, so bear with me… But truthfully, there are actually some things that speak better for themselves when I compose in English, I guess it’s just all hard-wired into my brain.

其 二，今晚我们新加坡学生联合会办了晚餐聚会，主要目的是向大家介绍我们这个新的执委班子。这也是我深为联合会秘书的第一个活动。简单的说，这次的聚会既是 成功，也是失败的：说它成功是因为大部分的人确实挺开心的，而出席人数竟达到了空前的70人，这是历届晚宴所望尘莫及的。
Secondly, tonight was the Singapore Student Association’s (SSA) first introductory dinner, which was my first activity as Secretary of SSA. In short, the event was both successful and unsuccessful. Successful in the sense that most people did enjoy themselves to a certain extent and we have got a sensational turn-up of close to 70 people, unmatched by any year’s SSA’s Executive committee(Exco);
说它不成功是因为我们忽略了许许多多的细节，当时局面挺混乱的。这是个令人恐慌的经验，但这是我们必须要走过的学习历程。我们这届的执委会还是很嫩的，而我们所将面临的一系列挑战才刚刚步入序幕。Unsuccessful in the way how we neglected details and how messy everything was. It was horrific, but it was a neceesary learning experience for the fledglings of the new SSA Exco. And the adventure has only just begun.
而 我生活之中还发生了些什么呢？戏剧——扮演一个戏中戏：作家笔下的老师，而他与学生产生了恋情。这角色所带来的挑战远非我所预料，但我早该知道……犹记得 中学时期，恋爱的含情脉脉的戏一直都是我发挥演技的克星，而它现在又再次成为了我演戏时心头上的结。我要怎么使这一情节在舞台上显得逼真？我又要如何才能 引领对手入戏？
And what else has been happening in my life? Drama - acting as a fictitious teacher who’s in love with his student, the role has provided more challenges than I ever expected. But I should have known it. Back in High school days, lovey dovey scenes have always been the bane of my act, and now it has returned to haunt me. How to bring the scene to life? How to help my partner get into the act?
还 有我的学习…唉，我还是有点胡闹有点混。唉，颂育（远在美国学习生命科学的朋友，是巨牛）给我的忠告简直是如雷贯耳。‘你自己都无法妥善地管理你的时 间和生活，你又要如何管理别人呢？’坦白的说，他没说错我！我虽然是公派生，我虽然自认出色，但直到我真正在学术方面证明我的价值，我日后想要发展并发挥 我的才能的机会只能是少之又少。唉…
And my academics… oh cheese. I’ve been pretty much playing a fool. Oh cheese. Songyu’s advice to me has been like a gunshot in the ear. "How can you expect to manage other people when you can’t even manage your own life?" and truthfully, he is right! I may be a scholar, I may think I’m outstanding, but until I really prove myself in my academics, I’ve got little chance to further prove my capabilities. Oh cheese oh cheese….
最后，我决定参加中文系的那个小猪哼哼K歌赛了。那星座的构思我不是很理解，不过貌似挺有趣的。
Last but not least, decided to take part in the Karaoke competition organised by my faculty. There’s this horoscope concept that sounds vaguely interesting… Let’s check it out~
