Within a single morning, my temperature rose from 36.9 degC to 38.2 degC. Now it has dropped to 37.5 degC. I hate the body ache, I hate the disruption of plans, I hate being sick =S

This morning, I’ve signed the contract that will decide my next 9 years. The far-reaching effect meant this was a significant and solemn event, so I elaborately dressed myself in long sleeve shirt and formal pants/shoes.

But it was over before I knew it. Within 30 mins of stepping into the building, I set my path in stone as I carved my initials in the stack of agreements. The swiftness of the process left me uneasy.

There is both pride and apprehension, but regardless of my emotions, the fact is… I have taken my first step into the education fraternity.

This would have been a great day: major improvement on the badminton court, fun meet-up and lunch with my fellow china-bound scholars, enjoyable singing lesson @ Ark, sumptious dinner with songyu @ thai-express esplanade.

But I come home, I stare at that conversation window, not a word returned.

And when it kicks to life, I rejoice.

Had a small conversation with Ric during our day-long outing, and suddenly I realised how much we’ve changed over the years.

June 10, 2006 11:33 pm

These days have been busy, majority of which I’ve spent @ The Theatre Practice’s Streetplay cultural outreach activity, where we introduce traditional performances and games from yester-years, as well as conduct a story-telling competition. Response has been wonderful, kids find joy in oldish 5-stone and hop-skotch while the old reminisce.

Supper @ Chinatown Complex

Supper after we wrapped up Sunday (4 Jun)’s programmes. The Charcoal-ed Claypot rice at Chinatown Complex was simply delicious!

Tomorrow will be the last day of StreetPlay, and despite the fatigue from running after kids and playing hopskotch, much has been learnt, and much will be cherished.

This blog has been renamed to "Dual Sound", ‘coz of my obligations to blog in both English and Chinese. "Why so?" most would ask.

Simply put, I’ve a need to keep certain audiences. Some prefer reading it in Chinese, while some just cannot stand reading anything besides Lay-English(Lol~ even then she doesn’t bother reading either). Furthermore, this dual language blogging might just help me in my language mastery, which I found myself severely lacking in the recent Taipei trip. ( I didn’t even know what "Fern" is in Chinese.)

By the way, please leave a tag if you visit~! I need a gauge of readership.
